Record vs. La Maquina: First meeting
Update: The Galaxy’s first game in the U.S. Open Cup will be a neighborhood tussle against Santa Ana’s La Maquina, which plays in the United Premier Soccer League, a five-year-old amateur adult league based in Southern California. La Maquina is taking part in the domestic cup competition for the first time and qualified for this fourth-round game by beating UPSL rival L.A. Wolves two weeks ago. With the Galaxy nearing the end of a two-week MLS break, Coach Bruce Arena may use this match to give some of his first-team bench players some game action.
