Share

When: 4 PDT.

Where: Columbus Crew Stadium.

On the air: TV: NBC Sports Network; Radio: 1330 (Spanish).

Records: Galaxy 11-11-3, Crew 8-8-4.

Record vs. Crew: First meeting.

Update: With a victory Wednesday, the Galaxy would have a winning record for the first time this season, but it will play without its two biggest stars. David Beckham returned to the U.S. after attending the London Olympics, but he will miss the Columbus game, as will Landon Donovan, who had an MLS-record-tying four assists in the 4-0 win Sunday over Chivas USA. Donovan is with the U.S. team for tonight’s game against Mexico in Mexico City. Meanwhile, the Crew is trying to regroup after the sudden death of 22-year-old midfielder Kirk Urso. Columbus’ game against Toronto FC, scheduled for last Saturday, was postponed for Urso’s funeral.
