Update: The Galaxy, riding its second two-game winning streak of the season, is beginning to show signs that it might be waking from its season-long slumber. Wednesday, the Galaxy rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Real Salt Lake, the league’s best team, behind two scores and an assist from Landon Donovan, who doubled his goal total for the season. Plus, the Galaxy will have striker Robbie Keane back from international duty for the first time in six weeks, though he’s unlikely to start. More likely to play is David Beckham. The Galaxy is playing for the third time in seven days and though Beckham has been bothered by a troublesome hamstring, Coach Bruce Arena said the midfielder has looked good in training. Vancouver, also playing its third game this week, is coming off a draw with the New York Red Bulls that ran its unbeaten streak to four in a row.
