Update: This is a key showdown for the Galaxy in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. Real Salt Lake leads the division with 41 points while the Galaxy is tied with Seattle for fifth place — the final playoff spot — with 34 points. This will be the clubs’ third meeting this season but the first on the Galaxy’s home turf. The Galaxy won, 2-0, on April 27 and Real Salt Lake won, 3-1, on June 8, with both games played in Utah.
