Update: The Galaxy try to bounce back from a stunning 3-2 loss to San Jose on Saturday when the defense collapsed and the Earthquakes scored two goals in second-half stoppage time. Columbus has not defeated the Galaxy since 2009 and the teams played to a 1-1 draw in their only meeting last year. The Galaxy will be without Landon Donovan, the team’s all-time leading scorer, who is playing for the U.S. national team.
