Police searching for a third man in Aaron Hernandez case
With former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez charged with first-degree murder, and his associate, Carlos Ortiz, in custody on a weapons charge, authorities in Massachusetts were searching for a third man Friday in connection with the slaying of Odin Lloyd.
Police were looking for Ernest Wallace, 41, accused of being an accessory after the fact of murder.
Police said Wallace, also known as “Bo Fish,” was armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a silver or gray Chrysler 300 with Rhode Island license plates.
Hernandez is now being investigated for the unsolved drive-by killings of two men in Boston last July, according to multiple reports.
Daniel Abreu, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28, were shot to death in a BMW while waiting at a traffic light. Another man in the car was wounded and two others escaped.
Investigators reportedly suspect Abreu and Furtado were involved in a nightclub brawl with Hernandez and his friends earlier that night.
