Injuries to Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford are expected to keep both players out for a second straight game, the Clippers said after Monday night’s victory in Minneapolis.

Griffin missed his first game of the season with back spasms and won’t play against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.

Crawford missed the game against the Timberwolves with a sore left Achilles’ injury.

He said after the game that he would see how his injury progresses in the next two days to determine his status.

“It all depends on getting treatment and getting some work in,” Crawford said. “So I hope I can go, but we’ll see. It’s not like it’s my calf. It was only my Achilles’, because the calf wasn’t firing. The Achilles’ took the soreness. It wasn’t like I did a move and hurt the Achilles’ or anything. It’s just soreness.”

The Clippers are 3-1 on their five-game trip that concludes Wednesday night in Phoenix.
