Poll: Would Lolo Jones last a minute in the Octagon with Ronda Rousey?
Lolo Jones has Ronda Rousey all figured out.
OK, so maybe the Olympic hurdler and bobsledder hasn't come up with a way to beat the UFC bantamweight champion. But Jones thinks she knows a way to last longer in the Octagon than Rousey's last three opponents.
Run away from her.
After watching Rousey knock out Bethe Correia in 34 seconds at UFC 190 on Saturday night, Jones tweeted out her brilliant idea:
How much are these chicks paid to get knocked out in seconds? I cant fight but I'll prolong it and run circles for least a minute #UFC190— Lolo Jones (@lolojones) August 2, 2015
Jones continued to have fun with the idea through Monday.
I'll need a hype man to help me enter the ring tho. Fears might get the best of me. pic.twitter.com/78q2PPn1ZJ— Lolo Jones (@lolojones) August 3, 2015
Clearly Jones is kidding about all this. But then again, why not? It's not like anything anyone else tries against Rousey works.
It's kind of an intriguing idea. Would Jones, an Olympic athlete, be able to avoid Rousey in the 750-square-foot Octagon for a mere 60 seconds? What do you think?
