The Kansas City Royals are headed back to the World Series for the first time since 1985.

The Royals beat the Baltimore Orioles, 2-1, Wednesday afternoon for a four-game sweep of the American League Championship Series.

The last time the Royals were in the Fall Classic, they beat the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games.
