Stephen Curry is on a roll right now. His 34 points per game is by far the best in the NBA this season, and he has the Golden State Warriors looking unbeatable (and at 14-0, they have been so far).

LeBron James hasn't been too shabby either, averaging 27 points a game and helping the still Kyrie Irving-less Cleveland Cavaliers to a 9-3 start.

James really hasn't stopped rolling since arriving in the league 13 seasons ago. He's got two championship rings, six NBA Finals appearances (including one in each of the last five years), four league MVP awards and two Finals MVP awards.

Plus he's got this kid ...

... and legions of other fans who consider him to be the best basketball player on the planet.

But does he still hold that distinction? What about Curry? In addition to his spectacular start to this season, he's also the reigning league MVP, and last year led the Warriors to the NBA title -- beating James and the Cavaliers in the Finals.

So who do you consider the best player in the league right now? Has Curry surpassed King James? Or do we need to wait before handing him the crown?
