It was a setting up to be a relatively routine edition of WWE's "Monday Night Raw" on, um, Monday, when Rusev, the hated wrestler from Russia, came to the ring with his manager, Lana. The crowd booed as Rusev said wrestler The Big Show was afraid to face him, and said Americans were lazy and cowards. Everyone played their roles wonderfully, but it was basically the same thing we have seen from Rusev week after week after week after week.
Suddenly, some familiar music hit the arena and a jolt of energy surged through the crowd. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hit the ring, making his return to WWE after spending the last several months away making movies.
The Rock went through all his familiar catchphrases, with the crowd hanging on every word, and eventually vanquished Rusev and sent him from the ring. It was then everyone realized, "Oh yeah, this is why I like pro wrestling. I remember now."
