USC football: Cornerback Kevon Seymour eager for more interceptions
USC cornerback Kevon Seymour invited a challenge against Oregon State last week, and the sophomore answered the call with his first interception.
Seymour said there would be more to come.
“The confidence is there,” he said.
Seymour could have his hands full today when USC plays California at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley at noon.
Cal sophomores Chris Harper and Bryce Treggs have 62 and 61 catches, respectively. Freshman Kenny Lawler caught three touchdown passes last week against Arizona.
USC is 6-3 overall and 3-2 in Pac-12 Conference play. Cal is 1-8 and 0-6 in the Pac-12.
