Update: The Trojans picked up their first conference win Wednesday against California, led by Julian Jacobs’ 17 points and five assists. Jacobs played point guard while the usual starter, Jordan McLaughlin, missed his second consecutive game with a separated right shoulder. He remains day-to-day, the team said. Stanford dropped a double-overtime game to UCLA on Thursday, but Stanford senior guard Chasson Randle still leads the conference at 19.8 points a game. The all-time series between these two schools is 122-122.
