Update: USC’s freshmen are getting plenty of playing time. Guards Julian Jacobs and Kahlil Dukes and forwards Nikola Jovanovic and Roschon Prince combined to score 50 points in wins over Cal State Northridge and Northern Arizona. Jacobs leads the Trojans with 13 assists and is third with 17 rebounds. Coach Andy Enfield lists as his starters Jacobs, Jovanovic, guard Pe’Shon Howard, center Omar Oraby and guard Byron Wesley, who had a career-high 31 points against Northern Arizona. Fullerton has four players scoring in double figures, led by guard Alex Harris, a sophomore transfer from Northeastern who is averaging 17.7 points per game.
