Cody Kessler and Soma Vainuku scheduled to participate in Senior Bowl

Former USC quarterback Cody Kessler and fullback Soma Vainuku are scheduled to arrive in Mobile, Ala., by Monday to participate in workouts leading up to Saturday’s Senior Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Kessler is one of eight quarterbacks in the game. He is on the North roster with Stanford’s Kevin Hogan, North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz and Louisiana Tech’s Jeff Driskel.
Alabama’s Jake Coker, Arkansas’ Brandon Allen, North Carolina State’s Jacoby Brissett and Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott are quarterbacks on the South roster.
Vainuku, a special teams standout, is on the North roster and is one of two fullbacks participating. Northwestern’s Dan Vitale is on the South team roster.
UCLA receiver Jordan Payton and kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn also are on the North roster.
Players will be interviewed by NFL personnel during the week and go through workouts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
