USC has received a letter of intent from Porter Gustin, the school announced.
Player: Porter Gustin
Position: Linebacker
Height: 6 feet 5
Weight: 245
High School: Salem Hills, Utah
Verbally committed: Feb. 3, 2015
Schools considered: Arizona State, Ohio State and Utah

Gustin discussed why he chose USC during his commitment ceremony, streamed online:
“I got to know the coaching staff pretty well over the last couple of months. I feel like their program is on the rise. Their last couple of recruiting classes have been great and I think they can only go up from here. I love the coaching staff and USC is great football traditionally and I think it’s going to go back to that. I don’t think I could go wrong with them.”
