Trojans move up two spots to No. 20 in Associated Press media poll

USC’s 56-28 victory over Colorado helped the Trojans move up two spots to No. 20 in the Associated Press media poll.

Quarterback Cody Kessler passed for a school-record seven touchdowns as the Trojans improved to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in the Pac-12 Conference.

Mississippi State is No. 1, followed by Florida State, Mississippi, Alabama and Auburn.

USC is one of six Pac-12 teams in the top 25.

Oregon is sixth, Arizona State 14th, Arizona 15th, Utah 19th and UCLA 25th.

USC plays Utah on Saturday at Salt Lake City.
