USC recruits to play on ESPN’s Friday night broadcast
Several USC recruits will play in Friday night’s ESPN-televised high school powerhouse matchup between Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco and Las Vegas Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas.
USC offered scholarships to Bishop Gorman senior receiver Cordell Broadus and tight end Alize Jones.
Broadus is the son of rapper and Trojans fan Snoop Dogg. Jones is committed to UCLA.
USC this week also offered scholarships to Bishop Gorman sophomore quarterback Tate Martell and receiver Tyjon Lindsey.
When Martell was an eighth-grader, he was offered a scholarship to Washington by then-coach Steve Sarkisian. Martell committed to the Huskies shortly after.
USC also has offered a scholarship to St. John Bosco offensive lineman Zach Robertson.
There are three scholarship players from St. John Bosco on USC’s roster, including offensive linemen Nico Falah and Damien Mama as well as linebacker Malik Dorton.
