Daily Deal: S.F. Palace package offers free parking, special rates
- Share via
Parking, always an issue in San Francisco, doesn’t come cheap in the City by the Bay — except, perhaps, with this deal at the Palace Hotel. You may sleep better with free parking and a discounted room rate.
The deal: The “ParkLA” deal at the Palace Hotel offers a discounted rate from $169 a night for Thursday through Sunday stays, which includes free parking, a $60 value. The nightly rate usually ranges from $250 to $500. The deal can be booked online or by calling and asking for the “ParkLA” offer. Deposit: A deposit for the first night, including tax, is required at the time of booking.
We’re not sure if these guests worried about parking, but its glitterati visitors have included Oscar Wilde, Amelia Earhart, Carlos Santana and several U.S. presidents.
This smoke-free San Francisco icon offers in-room Wi-Fi, LCD TVs and has a dedicated Green Team to reduce its carbon footprint. Guests can Make a Green Choice at check-in or when booking to opt out of maid service to save water and energy and earn 500 Starwood points for each day they skip maid service.
When: Thursday-Sunday stays through Dec. 31, subject to availability.
Tested: I found the $169 rate for a two-night stay from Nov. 28-30, for a superior room. The deal can be hard to find.
Contact: Palace Hotel, (415) 512-1111.
