Go river rafting and jungle walking on Costa Rica tour

Share

Spring into adventure mode in Costa Rica with a raft ride down a tropical river, a walk through the jungle on suspended bridges and a stay in an inn at the foot of a volcano.

A six-day tour organized by Classic Journeys blends adventure and nature in Costa Rica, where one-quarter of the nation is made up of national parks, wildlife refuges, marine sanctuaries, national reserves, conservation areas and biological reserves, which protect the land from overuse.

The trip, which features stays in Manuel Antonio National Park near Arena Volcano, begins in San Jose, the capital. It travels inland to visit cloud forests and to the coast to marine sanctuaries.
