Flash a Bank of America card at some museums and enter for free
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch card holders this weekend receive free admission to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, the Autry National Center in Griffith Park, the Hammer Museum in West L.A. and other venues in Southern California and across the country. Just show the card and you receive a cultural freebie.
The deal: Museums on Us is a year-long program for cardholders that offers free admission to selected museums on the first full weekend of each month. Other places in the program include the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Seattle Art Museum.
When: Free museum admissions for the rest of 2012 are good for this weekend and Dec. 1 and 2.
Details: The perk is good for one museum admission only, but you have two days to cash in. If you happen to be on the road, just look up participating museums and plan your weekend.
