Las Vegas: Car show celebrates a century of Cadillacs
A century of Cadillac production will be showcased during a car show April 13-14 in Las Vegas.
“Cadillac Through the Years” will be held at the Town Square shopping center, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd S. It will feature more than 100 classic Cadillacs, including a 1903 Runabout built during the first year of production.
The beauties from Michigan include a 1940 Series 75 Fleetwood owned by billionaire Howard Hughes and a 1948 Series 62 Saoutchik Cabriolet, one of only two ever produced and valued at $3 million.
A 1954 Fleetwood limousine will also be shown. That car was used often by Marilyn Monroe. Its other famous passengers include fellow actresses Janet Leigh and Ann Sheridan.
The cars will be on display 10 a.m.-8 p.m. April 13 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 14. Admission is free.
