Two Lanai resorts are offering “Stay Longer” packages that make them more affordable.

The deals come at the same time as two airlines add flights to the island that sits less than 10 miles west of Maui.

The Four Seasons’ Manele Bay and the Lodge at Koele have had recent improvements. The Manele Bay property now features Nobu by the Pool, where guests can enjoy spicy tuna rolls, fresh sashimi roku and other delights created by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

From May 8 to Sept. 30, Manele Bay is giving guests a fourth night free with every paid, three-night stay. Beginning this week and continuing through Dec. 19, 2014, the Lodge at Koele is offering a third night free with every two consecutive paid nights.

In August, technology guru and billionaire Larry Ellison bought the entire island for an undisclosed price. In February, a holding company owned by Ellison also bought Hawaiian-based Island Air. The airline recently announced plans to double its flights to Lanai by the end of the year. Island Air connects Lanai with Kahului (Maui) and Honolulu (Oahu).

A new airline, Ohana by Hawaiian Airlines, plans to begin service this July between Honolulu and Lanai.
