Italy: Snap photos of Venice at its best during Carnevale
- Share via
Photograph the extravagant masks and costumes of Carnevale in Venice on a tour with two pros and plenty of photo opps. The five-day trip from Studio City-based Willett Travel organizes shoots of the city’s distinctive architecture and waterways. It also provides private photo sessions with models at locations around the city.
Southern California photographers Deborah Kolb and Kim Wilson lend their expertise to the photo tours and workshops that come with this small-group trip (limited to 12). Participants learn camera, light, posing and processing techniques and take part in workshops in which people give feedback on one another’s work.
When: The trip is Feb. 24-March 1.
Price: $3,290 per person, double occupancy. It includes lodgings, daily breakfast and a weeklong water bus (vaporetto) pass to get around the city. International airfare is extra.
