Hotel Abri in San Francisco was built the year after the city’s devastating 1906 earthquake. The former Monticello Hotel has been transformed from a vintage building into a contemporary boutique hotel with an urban vibe. Now the Abri offers a spring deal on rates, but only for a limited time.

The deal: The Get Lucky offer takes 20% off nightly rates at the hotel at 127 Ellis St. in the downtown area north of Market Street and not far from Union Square. Use the promotion code “LUCKY” to get the discount.

When: The offer is good for stays through April 4, based on availability. Blackout dates are Feb. 25-27, March 8-11 and 25-28.

Tested: I checked availability around St. Patrick’s Day (March 15 through 17) and found $183 for a room (usually $229) and $215 for a king suite (usually $269); prices don’t include tax.
