Las Vegas: MGM offering deals for Pac-12 basketball fans

The Pac-12 men’s basketball tournament will be in Las Vegas this month, the first time Sin City has had the hoops fest, and host property MGM Grand, is offering special deals to fans who book by Friday.

In a move from its previous home at L.A.’s Staples Center, the 2013 action will take place on a court at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The first three games will be played on March 13, with the semifinals on March 15 and the championship game at 8 p.m. March 16.

Tickets for individual games are available through the athletic conference’s website.

The MGM Grand is offering special room prices and packages to those who book by Friday. If you go to this website or call (877) 880-0880, you’ll get 20% off regular room rates. The deal also includes show discounts: 20% off tickets to Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club or 30% off at KA by Cirque du Soleil.

Fans can also select from several other offers. The “VIP Access” package -- priced at $899 for three nights and $999 for four nights -- includes an executive king or queen suite, a $50 dining credit and VIP credentials that grant access to a special section for warm-ups before the games.
