Christina Aguilera to bring 16-show run of ‘Xperience’ to Vegas
Aguilera, 38, announced Tuesday that her residency with “Christina Aguilera: The Xperience” will begin May 31. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday.
The six-time Grammy award winner has sold more than 43 million records worldwide. She is one of four female artists to have had No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in three consecutive decades.
Aguilera will perform in the 7,000-seat Zappos Theater on these dates:
►June 1, 5, 7, 8, 13, 15, 16
►Sept. 20, 21, 24, 27, 28
►Oct. 2, 4, 5
Shows begin at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $60, plus taxes and fees.
A few blocks down the Strip, Cher and Lady Gaga continue their alternating runs at the Park Theater at Park MGM. Britney Spears had 32 concerts planned through mid-August at the Park Theater, but in early January canceled her residency, telling fans she wanted to spend more time with her ailing father.
Aguilera got her start in 1993 as a Mouseketeer on “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” TV show, which also featured Spears, Justin Timberlake Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell.
