The Linq splashes down with a new pool scene

Just in time for the heat, the Linq Hotel & Casino unveils its two new pools with their own bar, daybeds, cabanas and hotel rooms lining the exterior.

The main pool here offers first-come, first-served seating as well as four lily pad daybeds. Rent tables to sit around the second pool that’s located on an elevated deck. At the center of it all, a 32-seat center bar with four plasma televisions as well as cocktails, draught beer, frozen drinks and poolside dining options from new Nook Express.

Hide out in one of the 10 cabanas available for rent with a sectional seating area, personal electronic safes, plasma TVs, USB ports for phones and music players, built-in speakers, reserved chaise lounges and a refrigerator stocked with bottled water. Another 35 daybeds line the pool deck and include a personal electronic safe, a compartment to keep clothing and shoes dry and built-in umbrella holders for shade.

The cabanas accommodate eight to 12 people and start at $800 with bottle service and $700 without. Poolside daybeds fit up to three people. Prices start at $150 and include a bucket of beer or two cocktails.

Go all out with one of the 25 new cabana hotel rooms that line the pool. A patio with seating, umbrellas and televisions connects the room directly to the pool. A deluxe poolside cabana room goes for $435 to $775 in May, but book a room through Sept. 20 and get $200 in daily food and beverage credit.
The pools open on Friday, May 1, with a party from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and champagne Sundays launches on Sunday, May 3, with two for one Moet and Veuve Clicquot bottles from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a performance by DJ Mike Attack.

Rates: Linq hotel guests get in for free, guests from other Caesars Entertainment resorts pay $10 and all others pay $20.
