Lil Wayne drops his new album in Las Vegas while Trey Smith hits the decks

Rapper Lil Wayne celebrated Independence Day in Las Vegas with a performance at Life Nightclub inside SLS Las Vegas to mark the release of his new “Free Weezy” album.

Lil Wayne performed his hit singles “I’m Goin In,” “Sorry For The Wait,” “Money Power Respect,” “Coco,” “Wasted,” “Truffle Butter,” “Got Money” and more. The packed crowd went wild when he played two new songs from his album.

The crowd included rapper DMX, who received a special shout out during the show, as well as professional basketball player Lamar Odom and rapper O.T. Genasis.

Over at the Palms Pool & Dayclub, deejay Ace, aka Trey Smith, kicked off the Independence Day weekend at Ditch Fridays, the dayclub party.

Smith, the son of actors Will Smith and Sheree Fletcher, was surrounded by a posse of 10 that included his mother, his girlfriend Rachel List, and his mother’s fellow VH1 “Hollywood Exes” cast member Shamicka Lawrence, the ex-wife of actor Martin Lawrence.
