Drive ‘Fast and Furious’ at Las Vegas’ Dream Racing

Illegal street racing and stealing high-end cars set the backdrop for the film series “The Fast and the Furious.”
In Las Vegas, you can get behind the wheel of three of the dream cars from the movies with the new “Fast and Furious” package at Dream Racing, the driving experience on the in-field racetrack at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

While every car at Dream Racing is pretty swanky (think Lamborghinis, Ferraris and McClarens), this new package celebrates the release of “Furious 7” on April 3, and fans of the film reve up their engines in three of the cars from the series.

The Audi R8 V10, which actor Jason Statham drives in the new film, hits a top speed of 197 miles per hour. The movie also features a Ferrari 458 Italia that can hit 202 miles per hour. As an ode to actor Paul Walker, the “Fast and Furious” actor who died in a car crash in November 2013, Dream Racing included a Nissan GT-R, a car Walker drives in “Fast Five” in a race against Dominic Toretto in a Dodge Challenger. The GTR tops out at 193 miles per hour.

The package goes for $815 and includes five laps in each car.
