Wynonna Judd’s husband, Cactus Moser, was hurt Saturday in a motorcycle accident in South Dakota, suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries that forced the singer to postpone this week’s scheduled concerts in Canada.

Judd, 48, who was riding her own Harley-Davidson with Moser, 55, when he drifted over the center line and hit the door of an oncoming car, was not hurt, according to an official statement from Wynonna’s camp.

The couple, who married in June, canceled their Saturday night show scheduled for the Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel & Casino in Deadwood, S.D. Moser is the drummer in Judd’s band.

“The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side,” Wynonna said in the statement.

Moser, who was taken by helicopter to a Rapid City, S.D., hospital, was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and not having a license to operate a motorcycle, the Rapid City Journal reported. He had “drifted over the center line,” according to the paper.

The next date listed on her tour schedule is Aug. 30 in Michigan.
