Celebrity hair stylists open Goddard + Bragg salon

Celebrity hair stylists Lorri Goddard and Chris Turner-Bragg have opened a salon in the Kinara Spa in West Hollywood.

Goddard, a colorist, is known for her foilayage technique of threading hair color. Celebrity clients have included Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lawrence, Rooney Mara and Alicia Silverstone. Turner-Bragg is known for his cuts and has worked with actress Joy Bryant, Juicy Couture and Pam & Gela founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor and fashion designer Georgina Chapman.

Both have done copious amounts of editorial work with famed photographers (Turner-Bragg has worked with Mario Testino and David LaChappelle, among others) and for magazines (Goddard’s work has appeared in Allure, Elle, InStyle and more).

--Vintage Malibu and Malibu Country Mart plan their second annual Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt on Saturday, inviting participants 18 and up to search for three jewelry boxes hidden around the shopping center at 3835 Cross Creek Road, Malibu. The grand prize is a $2,600 diamond necklace from Vintage Malibu. Other prizes are $500 and $250 gift cards. Registration is from 9 to 9:15 a.m. at Vintage Malibu, with the hunt scheduled from 9:30 to 10. Only one prize will be awarded per person.

--Throughout February, membership hair emporium Society Salon is offering complimentary blowouts to nonmembers so they can get a taste of the services offered. --Tickets are on sale for a special beauty presentation by celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury at Nordstrom at the Grove. The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 24 and will feature Tilbury sharing her red carpet beauty secrets, including how to re-create one of the looks she’ll do for the Academy Awards. Tickets are $50 and can be applied to Charlotte Tilbury product purchases that day. --Hatmaker Goorin Bros. plans to celebrate the opening of its new Studio City shop with a Valentine’s Day-themed celebration including snacks, libations, music and a raffle from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The shop is at 12192 Ventura Blvd.
