Craftsman and Wolves patisserie to bring the ‘rebel within’ to Culver City

Share

Craftsman and Wolves, the San Francisco patisserie and retail store known for its chocolate croissant stacks and soft egg-stuffed “rebel within” muffin, will open a location in Culver City. The Southern California outlet is slated to open in August in the new Platform boutique retail center.

The menu is still being decided, but expect to see some of the patisserie’s signature items, including that pretty cool muffin and the chocolate croissant stacks; smoked pepper and hot pepper gougères; and Valrhona chocolate chip cookies.

Also expect to see more breakfast and lunch offerings than what’s offered at the San Francisco location, as well as brunch items, and wine and beer.

The space will have indoor and outdoor seating and room to sell the brand’s packaged retail items.

Craftsman and Wolves also announced it will open a second San Francisco location in the Russian Hill neighborhood in May.

If you’re not going up the coast any time soon and simply cannot wait for a muffin that looks like it escaped from the kitchen of “Big Night,” you can always head over to Sumi Chang’s Pasadena bakery Europane and see if she’s making any of her bacon and egg muffins. (If not, get the justly lauded egg salad sandwich).
