Stir Market, a new food hall, restaurant and retail space helmed by chefs Jet Tila (The Charleston) and Chris Barnett (Relais D’Auteuil in Paris, the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills) is slated to open Tuesday in the former Buddha’s Belly space on Beverly Boulevard. The 4,000-square-foot hall will have multiple food counters, including a rotisserie and expo kitchen, an area devoted to seasonal salads and sandwiches, a wine and snack bar with charcuterie and cheese, an artisan bakery and an espresso bar.

On the menu are Moroccan baked eggs with chickpeas, peppers and merguez sausage, a warm rotisserie chicken sandwich with aioli, onion jam, watercress and dill havarti, crispy porchetta with lavender, rosemary and fennel rub, kale and red quinoa with cranberries, almonds and citronete, crispy pig tails, duck liver pate and more.

“We’re inspired by iconic culinary/retail destinations such as Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid and Harrods in London where dining and shopping blend effortlessly,” Stir Market’s president and co-founder, Mimi Mok, said in a statement.

A selection of grab-and-go items will include whole-grain salads, sandwiches, rotisserie meats and snacks.

To sip, Stir Market will serve Intelligentsia Coffee, cold brew on tap, Kilogram Organic Teas and handcrafted juice elixirs at the espresso bar. There will also be a wine and craft beer bar featuring seven wines and eight craft beers on tap, alongside 20 wines by the bottle.

A curated selection of jams, almond milk, olive oils and Stir Market products, including rubs, chutneys and flavored sugars, will be available in the hall’s retail store.

The open dining hall features a 30-foot-long leather banquette with both marble and wood tables and a communal table that seats 14. Additional seating is available outdoors on a heated patio, where the chefs are growing herbs and vegetables.

Stir Market will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
