No sooner did news hit that “American Idol” will end next year, than Jennifer Lopez, one of the show’s judges, announced plans to perform 20 shows in Las Vegas. The series of performances is to begin in January at the Planet Hollywood Axis Theater. Tickets are to go on sale Saturday. [NYT]
