The Rams’ defensive line, which features reigning NFL defensive player of the year Aaron Donald, could possibly add another marquee name.

Ndamukong Suh, released last week by the Miami Dolphins, is expected to visit the Rams this week, a person with knowledge of the situation said.

Suh, 31, is a five-time Pro Bowl selection. He has visited the Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints, and also reportedly has interest in meeting with the Seattle Seahawks.

Suh, an eight-year veteran, played five seasons for the Detroit Lions before the Dolphins gave him a six-year $114-million contract before the 2015 season.

He has 51 ½ sacks.

The 6-foot-4, 307-pound Suh, selected with the second pick in the 2010 draft, had a career-best 10 sacks as a rookie, and amassed 36 sacks in his five seasons with the Lions.

He had six, five and 4 ½ sacks in his three seasons in Miami.

The Rams are looking to adds depth to their pass rush and run defense after trading linebackers Robert Quinn and Alec Ogletree before the start of free agency.
