1 hostage, 2 suspects dead after bank robbery, chase in Stockton
A hostage and both of the suspects were killed Wednesday during a wild shootout and police pursuit following a bank robbery in Stockton.
TV video showed images of an SUV riddled with bullet holes when the pursuit ended.
Stockton police said on Facebook that the alleged bank robbers had fired on pursuing officers during the chase.
The robbery occurred at the Bank of the West on Thornton Road, police said.
According to the Associated Press, a hostage and both suspects were killed and two other hostages were hospitalized.
