Cocoanut Grove theater at the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools. The colonnade at the sides and rear of the auditorium is similar to that of the old Cocoanut Grove nightclub. The school was built on the site of the Ambassador Hotel, where Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated. More Kennedy Schools complex panoramas: Faculty lounge | Library | Quad | West courtyard Share

What no balcony seating? how could they forget that in this ghetto Taj Mahal
How funny. "American.1774" and I had the exact same sentiment; I didn't see his or hers because the comments didn't load until after I posted mine.
Anyway, the thing is, I'm sure the average LAUSD student will reeeeeeally appreciate all the boatloads of cash this auditorium cost, you know, the ones who don't drop out before seeing it. Those expensive red seats are probably made of jussssst the right materials to really indelibly absorb the ink from the graffiti pens our city's youth will use to tag them. Hooray!
