ROCKY WATCH: DAY 7

BACK IN 2004, somebody crashed the GMC Yukon issued to Los Angeles City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo. The city owns the car, and taxpayers paid more than $2,000 to have it repaired, but Delgadillo won’t say who was driving it at the time of the crash. Beginning with today’s launch of Rocky Watch, we’ll be counting the days until he comes clean. Our colleague Steve Lopez holds Delgadillo responsible for ducking even more questions, but we’re in a generous mood and thus begin our count at Day 7, the number of days since Delgadillo first clammed up about the crash.
