Pauley Pavilion has undergone a $133-million renovation. After a full year of work, crews are readying the remodeled arena to reopen for UCLA's season opener against Indiana State on Nov. 9. Fans can expect high-end finishes, a new LED ribbon board, a reasonably wide concourse with new food stands and 1,000 additional seats that push up closer to the court. The players will get a locker room adorned with cherry wood and recessed lighting.

Add / View comments | Discussion FAQwait! we flip-flopped ends for the new pauley and now our bench is on the right side, and coach wooden's seat is located behind the bench a few rows up to the right; however, they have the audacity to say "that's where coach used to sit for home games?" no, he sat behind the bench a few rows up to the left, and our bench used to be on the LEFT side! ...WHY THE CHANGE?
I just got a peek inside - and it looks fantastic! What they did is amazing! Great light and openness. Warm tones from lots of wood - a great update of what is hallowed ground! Keeping the tradition, but opening things up. Any Bruin will immediately feel right at home.
From when I first saw the original plans I thought it should have been a total demolition and rebuild. Still looks like a jr high school gym. Very disappointing.
