Buffalo Bills likely to start EJ Manuel in place of Tyrod Taylor
The Buffalo Bills are likely to start EJ Manuel in place of quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Sunday against Cincinnati, according to multiple reports.
Taylor’s knee, which has a sprained medial collateral ligament, is not ready, according to NFL.com. Manual has received most of the first-team practice reps during the week. Still, the Bills have listed Taylor as questionable and said he would be a game-time decision.
Taylor was limited at practice for a third straight day Friday. He sprained a knee ligament in Sunday’s 14-13 win over the Tennessee Titans.
“I think he wants to go, there’s no doubt about that,” Coach Rex Ryan said Friday. “But we’ll see. He’s feeling a lot better, let’s just put it to you that way.”
