Football: Narbonne uses headsets to relay play by play from USC-Utah game

Share

Narbonne Coach Manuel Douglas was a little busy Friday night. His team was facing Paramount, so he couldn’t sit by a television set to watch his former quarterback, Troy Williams, take on USC.

But with his team ahead, 37-0, and Williams trying to lead a Utah comeback, Douglas’ assistant coaches in the press box started relaying to him information via headsets as they watched on their phones.

After Williams threw a game-winning touchdown pass with 16 seconds, Douglas said, “We lost it. Troy was our boy.”
