More on the Chicago cougar

Can’t stop reading about that cougar in Chicago? Neither can we. Readers are still commenting at L.A. Unleashed.

And that’s not all. National Geographic News has weighed in with its own report.

And letters and emails continue to come to the Chicago Tribune, communications such as this one:

‘Give me a break already with that stupid cougar. Apparently there must have been a very slow news day for such attention to be given to such a trivial event. I laud the Chicago Police Department for quick and efficient action that potentially spared the lives of pets or people who might have been viciously attacked by this animal. We have a 4-pound poodle, an integral part of our family that would have been a minuscule snack for such an animal and are relieved it was caught. As it is we have to cope with coyotes that come out of a nearby forest preserve.’
