Shoppers everywhere are cutting back. A reporter from the Wall Street Journal recently took a walk down Rodeo Drive with a video camera and talked to folks there about how the economic downturn is being felt on one of the world’s swankiest streets. Along the way, she encountered one Leslie Torres of La Puente in front of the Louis Vuitton store. Ms. Torres recounted how her father’s loan business was doing poorly, forcing her to make a tough choice about her college graduation present. To see the video, click here.
