UCLA offensive linemen cleared to play

Eddie Williams, a transfer from Mt. San Antonio College, and Nik Abele, an incoming freshman from Irvine High School, have both completed the necessary academic work and will be eligible to play for UCLA.

Williams, who is 6 feet 1, 331 pounds, is considered one of the solutions on the offensive line for this season. He will have two years of eligibility left.

Abele, who is 6 feet 7, 275 pounds, may also challenge for a spot.

In other news, tight end Joseph Fauria, a transfer from Notre Dame, was filling out his paperwork to enroll at UCLA on Monday.
