Football: Bloomington’s Allmond is on the radar of West Coast teams

Seemingly every PAC-1O program has expressed interest in Jayson Allmond. And it appears as if it will simply be a matter of time before the fast-rising junior prospect from Bloomington receives his first scholarship offer.

Allmond has already made visits to Arizona St. and UCLA. Click here to see what the 6-foot-plus, 240 pound linebacker had to say about his two trips. Oregon St. and USC could be possible destinations in the near future. Cal and Oregon are at the top of his list, too.

Suppose I should mention Colorado and Tennessee being in the mix -- a fact that should not go unnoticed by his other potential suitors. Ultimately, it will be interesting to see which PAC-1O powerhouse ponies up with the first offer and how long it takes to happen.
