It looks as though a couple players from Oxnard’s ‘four horsemen’ stable are starting to get recognized by recruiters.

According to Scout.com, RB Sam McCowan and QB Dasmen Stewart have received scholarship offers from Army. However, the story didn’t state whether each player has started the process toward becoming a cadet.

My guess is they haven’t simply because I know a few more schools will be interested in these guys over the course of their senior seasons next fall. In fact, Stewart has already received interest from Syracuse, San Jose State, and Nevada-Reno.

The only bummer is that RB/DB Montauge Fuentes will be graduating in a couple weeks, so we can’t tag these guys as part of the ‘four horsemen’ anymore. What do you think we should call them? ‘The triumphant trio’ or maybe the ‘three amigos?’ Come on people, I obviously need your help on this.
