Thousand Oaks will play Bravos de Pontezuela of Santiago, Dominican Republic, for the Big League World Series championship at 5 p.m. PST tonight in a game televised by ESPN2.

Thousand Oaks advanced to the championship of Big League Baseball, a division of Little League that features 17- and 18-year-olds, after pitcher Tyler Karp took a shutout into the seventh inning of a 5-2 semifinal victory over Ruston (La.) on Tuesday before leaving the game after reaching the pitch limit.
