Zola Budd, the 18 year-old South African-born running star, will meet with British track and field officials later this week to discuss her plans and the role of her business adviser.

Officials of the British Amateur Athletics Board are hopeful they can persuade Budd to continue running for Britain--her adopted country.

But the board’s secretary, Nigel Cooper, said they would have to look closely at the position of Budd’s South African adviser, Jannie Momberg.
