Three men broke into a Yorba Linda home early Friday morning, tied up five people and ransacked the house, then fled in two of the family’s cars.
Brea police Lt. Bill Lentini said three armed men entered the home of Jerry and Marian Box on Shadow Ridge Lane at about 2 a.m.
They tied up the couple, their two children and a maid and for the next hour took cash, jewelry, firearms and other items, including a microwave oven.
They left in the Boxes’ 1982 Corvette and 1979 Dodge van.
None of the victims was harmed, and no estimate of the loss was available, Lentini said.
